"if you could only have 1 bow what would you have"

Okay - I get it! This is a riddle!

The answer is - ONE BOW!

Now if you could only have two bows, you would have two bows, and so on and so on.

This was too easy!

My experience with the vast number of quality bows is quite limited.

I would choose the one that naturally fit me best.

A Blacktail recurve...about 5 pounds heavier than the one I shoot nearly every day and is currently hanging on my bow rack.

But I love all my bows, which is the reason I have never sold or traded any bow I've ever owned. Picking just one would prove difficult, if not impossible. Sophie would have a less difficult time making a choice than I would.

I guess it would be the only one I have. A Shafer Silvertip! That's not by choice, the funds don't allow right now!!  :banghead:  Jason

I don't know if I can answer that one right, but I can say this, I've had my River's Edge Recurve longer than any other bow I've owned  :)

Sounds like a question the wife would ask..  :saywhat:
If I could only have one I quess it would have to be my 2000 Spec. Edition Bighorn.  I go for months without shooting it, then when I pull it out BAM...right on the money.   :bigsmyl:

I have thirteen, but four of those are Morrison Shawnee Longbows, so If I only had to keep one that would be my choice. 58", 50@27". Carbon/foam limbs.

Ive got only one bow at the moment    :goldtooth:

To youre question, an exceptionally rare and expensive one, i could sell it and buy a 2 or 3 cheaper ones   ;)

It would be a toss up between my Centaur and my Super Shrew Deluxe. Man that is a tough choice. I will have to think about that some more.

Honestly I am not sure that bow has ever been built. Not to hi jack this thread and maybe should start a new one. But if you could only own one bow and never another one , What style , composition , poundage ,. ect would that be. Remember if it breaks you don't get another one. Your life depends on this bow. ect ect ect. Kind of an interesting concept./ I was thinking about the bows I have. Not sure I own that bow or built it yet.
God bless you all,  Steve

I'm guessing a short, 50-56", 2-piece curve or longbow with ACS limbs, heaps of carbon and maybe Mr Neaves XTL lams, center-cut, FF tips, indestructable and enchanted by the gods with a +5 vitals seeking arrow!  :)
