Got a box in the mail late Thursday from Hamilton, MT.

It contained the first actual "new" bow I've ever owned.  Dale Dye worked his magic on a 58" Medicine Point with two sets of limbs.

Riser is curly Claro Walnut with a thin stripe of Macassar Ebony.  Pierce Points are Wenge and Cocobolo.  First set of limbs (54#) are laminated with walnut from the same blank and second set (49#) are Dale's "Medicine Wood".  Both sets of limbs have horn tips and are fastflight.

I'm a lousy photographer, but you should be able to get an idea of how nice this bow is:

Thanks guys.

I finally got to shoot it yesterday.....and tried both sets of limbs.   Thanks to the fastflight string that came with it, I don't have any arrows that are perfectly spined for this bow, but was close enough to convince me that it will be my go-to bow in the future.

Did I mention that I love walnut?

Man that bow is beautiful! I love the checkered grip.

That is the first set of Pierce Points that I have ever thought lovely. I am a big fan of walnut also, and regret letting a bowyer steer me away from it once. That is one beautiful bow, and I am wanting you to know that I am keeping an escrow account for the day that you decide to part with it.
