Been dealing with John Dill for around 6 years. No complaints. I credit him with makeing me become a better shot with a trad bow. I own more kanati quivers than he does. I got a 47lb addiction recurve that has killed a bunch of stuff . I recently got a 56lb addiction  from John. My shoulder has been my down fall shooting anything over 50lbs for awhile. This bow , although only 56" has a longer working limb than my 60" widow. I shoot it good and for a while with no ill effects. I killed my first animal with this bow last wed in SC. 151lb boar. shot was 17yds out of a tree. abowyer brownbear head broke the off side leg bone into. centered the heart and pig died in 25 yds. Great rig, but this pig had more shield than the 204lber I killed with the 47lb bow. I'm looking to up my arrow wt and maybe a 3 blade next time.

My point is, I can shoot this bow at 9 lbs more than my 3pc takedowns and also pretty accurate.

This is the only pic I took of the pig. It was taken the next morning. I forgot to take any that night. Don

Don,  you've been puttin' em down bud!!  Glad to hear the 56#er is working for ya!   If my shoulder keeps acting up I may be giving John a call about that little 41# Addiction it would work real good with my slim jim.

Congrats on a fine hog!
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

I think you'd like one Mac, I know I love mine, ("Blackie", a 54" and 50# at 28", I don't draw it that far but it sure is easy drawing and sweet shooting). You're always welcome to come down and shoot her (like you did my other bows), although I believe John's house is closer to you - and he has a wider selection - LOL.

Another great job, Don - except for the slight slip on the picture taking (before dressing the rascal out - LOL). Still a good picture though, none the less. Glad to hear your shoulder is holding up better now, with a heavier bow - they (shoulders) can sure be aggravating when they are hurting.
