Will this cause problems?

Long story short, I'm shooting 29" 2016's with 100 gr heads from an older recurve 55#@28". I only draw to around 26.5-27". I know the arrows are a little on the underspined side of things, but they do shoot very well. What I didn't think about is thier total weight. Coming in at 465 gr, will they cause damage to the older bow limbs?

By my calculations your arrows are coming in at about 9 grs/lb or slightly less. You should be ok.

I agree with him, you're about 9 gpp and also right in the spine range I'd expect, that's why they shoot so good!

2016's is to older bows like the 150 grain bullet is to the Winchester Model 94 30-30 carbine. I'd wager the 2016 accounted for more dead deer in the last 40 years than any other arrow. I would not hesitate to toss one from an older recurve in your weight range.
