18 months of trad
« on: February 28, 2011, 10:23:00 PM »
Eighteen months ago I made the decision to lengthen my bow and my enjoyment of it.  After almost 20 years with a compound, I no longer owned one.

Here is a short recap of my travels with my widow...

Northern California

Southern California

Arizona 2010

Kodiak Alaska

Time flies when you're having fun.
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Wow, great shots! Incredible scenery. There is just something different about the "traditional" mind set. Very gratifying.

Nice pics congratultions on your hunts!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Thanks guys!  It can't be possible to have more fun than I have the last 18 months.  But I'll do my best to test that theory.

Up next public land birds and some Tejon hogs!

Figure I'm gonna like this one & save it for when I get home. Switching to trad is fun enough but to a Wider w/deer foots in your mouth? Gotta know you get it!
