On my last tournament I used some 5/16 woodies who flew like darts. Because it were big distances, you could judge the flight well. Everbody also said it to me how well they flew. I decided to put the values in Stu, to see what came out....
Judge for yourself!
Later on I will test my 11/32 woodies and carbon Goldtips the same way.
Some additional info:
I set the strike plate on 3/32, so that the total amount of centercut is + 1/32
I put the nock-end weight on 20 because I lacker the last 10 inches of my shaft. As an average this adds 18 grains to the weight of the shaft, but since this is over a lenght of 10 inches, it wouldn't be realistic to add the total
weight to the nock end. I had some consultation with Stu and we both decided that halve the weight (9 grains) might be added. My nocks weigh 12,5 grians, so in total 20 grains would be realistic.
As far as FOC is concerned: I am a 3D shooter and for this ballgame you need a FOC around the 8%.
