Well, Looking to pull the trigger on a Thunderhorn 3 piece. Are they as good shooting as they are good looking. Not too versed in long bows yet but need to take the plunge. JG

I have a one piece Thunderhorn Coup Stick. If/when I decide to get another bow it will be a two piece Thunderhorn. Everything I have seen or heard about Duane and his longbows has been positive. I really don't think you will be disappointed. Will this be your first bow??

Hi, No this will be my first custom though. Currently shooting a Matrin Savanna which I like but at 60#s it's getting a bit heavy. I also have a Bear Tigercat which is getting me back into shape after a year off. I liked the riser on the Thunderhorn and the 3 peice seems to have a narrower grip similiar to my Savanna which I seem to shoot better than the recurve.Thks Jim G

Also looking at the Cari-Bow Silver Fox along with the Tunderhorn. They look like they are very close in shape and design. Have not been able to handle either one. Really like them both, would buy both if I could afford it but such is life..  Any input on what similarities  there are between them. Thks JG

Back again, I've been comparing the riser shape of both. It appears the the riser angles are a little sharper on the Cari-Bow. How does this affect the feel compared to a flatter angle. I'm not asking if one is better than the other but rather what the pointing would be like. I have a 28.5 " draw , does that have anything to do with a choice. The Thunderhorn appears to be similar to my Savanna. Hence why I like it. JG
