The bows you have owned
« on: March 03, 2011, 03:30:00 PM »
I think this will be fun.

I was sitting at my desk at work and perusing my photobucket page and got to remembering all the bows I have owned in my life so far and WOW I have gone through some bows. I have owned over 84, 4 of which I still have.

So lets list them:

Schafers-6(still have 3)
Dale Dyes-7
Jack Howards-3
Jack Harrisons-6
Bob Morrisons-9
Brackenburys-7(still have 1)
Cari-bow-7(still have 1)
O.L. Addcock-5
A&H-2
Robertsons-6
Blacktails-3
Bears-9(still got my type 1 A and sold my 1960 K like a fool,LOL)
Acadianwoods-3
Black Widow-1
Tall Tines-2
self bows-3
Hunntin stick(Micky Lotz's brother)-1
Leon Stewart-1
7 Lakes-1
ElkRidge-3
Bobby Loftin-1
Howard Hill-1
Ben Pearson-2(my first bows when I started at 15)

Such sweet memories. Yes, that is a bunch of bows and money, but you cannot take it with you and it is the only vice I have ,this bow shooting/hunting passion.

So who else has this passion?

LOL, you could be correct Mike, but I am getting long in the tooth and my memory is not what it used to be, but I think I am pretty close.

Five months, three bows

Checkmate Beaver Creek
Acadian Woods Recurve
Black Widow SAG

I am trying to put my hands on a Thunderchild and the new Bear T/D right now.  And I will always long for a Acadian Woods 56" treestick with bling until I finally make the trip to Tim's.

Whoops, I forgot some bows for my son:

Hoyt Gamemaster
Mathews Eagle
Predator Custom Classic

But surely these bows don't count.

These are only the recurve bows. You folks aren't interested in another list that has another 12-14, only 1 of which I still own.
