What's the name of that elk thread?

You know, the one that is LOADED with info on elk hunting? I remember reading through it, but after using the search, I can't find it.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Great read, glad you brought that back up.

I'll have to wait a couple of years for my retirement, but that is one dream (elk hunting) I'll fulfill in 2013.

Matter of fact, maybe I should start another thread, but any midatlantic tradgangers who'd like to start planning an Elk Hunt in Sep 2013?

Awesome thread. Now I just need to plan a hunt. Way out of my price range at the moment. Any of you guys think it would be worth while to do a self guided hunt on public land? That is about all I could afford. ($2k range)

Any hunt in the rockys is better than no hunt. Plan on going this fall no one has killed a elk yet but maybe this year.
