My Two Boys Gettin' Ready for 3D
« on: March 05, 2011, 11:33:00 PM »
I got my 2 boys away from the video games the other day so they could practice for the upcoming KY Tradfest 3D event hosted by the fine fellers of the KY Traditional Bowhunters Association in Harrodsburg. They had a great time out in the backyard so I thought I would share some pics with yaw.

That's 11 year old Dillon on the left and 13 year old Matt on the right. Dillon's shooting a 35#@28" Proline recurve and Matt's shooting a 35#@28" Browning recurve. This was Dillon's first time shooting the Proline I got for him recently and he really likes it. They were shooting at 10 yards.

That's what this country needs more of, get them kids outside and put the video games away.
Good for you!

Boy.....Matt looks serious! Or mad?
Course I'm bad about not smiling much in front of the camera myself.

Looking good.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Andy: no they haven't hunted yet with their bows. Done a little bowfishing and 3D and stumping with trad but that's all so far.

Chris: Matt's like me when it comes to smiling for pics, we forget to smile!

Ruddy: yes, time flies when you're having fun! That bow you gave the kids, as you well know, has been passed on to Tradgang member, "Two Wolves"'s grandson. It served them well.

Excellent!Btw,where's the snow ? The cold ?lol
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
