I have been practicing with mine. I am glad to hear about washing it.
Big Jim's video on using and wearing it is good. One thing I did was to get a full length armguard (from 3 Rivers, Cat guard) which helps keep the bowstring free; the video shows Jim using two regular armguards for the same reason. He also wears a binocular harness to hold the suit tighter up into his armpit for string clearance, a good idea.
It is not hard to adapt to, but some time should be allowed for practicing with it, just like anything. The practice sessions are most entertaining for spectators (wife, neighbor's kids), you may want to go off in the woods somewhere...
