A few new quivers
« on: March 07, 2011, 09:39:00 PM »

This one is long overdue to Ken!  Ken and I swapped some leather for a quiver a while back and I finally got my end finished up   :)

Lots of beads and some tin cones on the pouch and a wool strap, red flannel lining the mouth and wrapping the bottom as well.

And here's a full coverage coyote quiver that's ready to hit the range or woods.  The quiver and strap are both lined and the leather for the pouch and laces are painted black and 'aged' to simulate the charcoal and clay paint that would have been used back in the day.

Wow, that leather quiver is amazing, and I love the color phase of that coyote. Beautiful work.

Yup!  I'm doing a pouch right now that's a little bigger than Ken's and a more complicated design.  It's on braintanned mule deer to boot, so I'm pretty excited about it.  It'll be paired up with a quiver out of braintanned elk with a few other details too.

Those are sweet ! Ive always wanted a back quiver made out of the leg skin of a bear with the paw attached.
