Jeremy, those are nice looking quivers. Are those Wampum beads on the Elk quiver strap?

I'm always looking for trades  :)

I'll try to get a pic up tonight of a current project.  Someone traded me a couple of braintanned hides for a quiver and I'm just about finished beading the main part of the pouch and it's fantastic!

This is the plan for the project.  It doesn't include the beadwork patterns for the pouch flap, small pouch or panels on the straps, but you get the idea  :D
The hides are very lightly smoked and he wanted them mostly left that color.  the red ochre fades on the fringe and up by the mouth is going to be a combination of dye and paint.  I was planning on just using the pigment powder, but it would have to be reapplied every few years to keep the look... I decided to make it a little more permanent with the dye and paint, similar to what I did with the pouch on the coyote quiver.
