I heard my first gobbling of the season. This weekend the youth hunt starts it off, will be taking the granddaughters on Saturday and the grandson on Sunday then my season starts on Tuesday. I’m so ready; I would love to call one in for the grandkids......stabow

Thats awesome, Good luck!! I had a large mixed flock of about 30 birds, with a few strutters on Friday morning. I wish I had a darn camera, they looked really pretty in the snow.

We had a few warm days up here in NH last month and the males were all strutting and gobbling. I couldn't believe it but I'm not a turkey and their brains are not much bigger than a pea. It seems any warm weather breaks we get in the winter and the same thing happens.
