This is interesting indeed!
Did this model appear only as a 66"er?
Yeah, like Mike, me included, these days there seems to be a resurgence in the desire to shoot the more traditional Hill style bows.
Maybe it is a typical cycle..but sure is strong (and expensive) now. Seems this could be a good time to build a few Bob but the word seems to be "longer is better" fwiw.
I would love to shoot one of those too!

Mike I know what you mean about the longer mild rd D strung bows. They can be the quietest smoothest and most accurate bow to shoot, I didn't even know Bob had made them in the past. So good luck on your search and thanks for the info. Bob is a great guy who knows how to build awesome bows reguardless of style.

When I refinished that L/B, I took off all of the writing, it said, Morrison Longbow, 66'' 60#@27'' and had a "Grey/Tan" Colored Leather Wrap {not stitched} and rest/strike plate, looked All Original, but definitely used, I was amazed at the great condition the Bow was in, I just made it "Greater" {lol} But seriously, Never owning a Morrison before, you can definately see it was built VERY GOOD, and I believe Bob told me about 25 years old !! It's a Real Nice Shooter Also ....

I think his Longbows were offered from 56" to the 66" but I'm not sure. I had a 64" that I would buy back in a heart beat if I could locate it..

I just came back from shooting the 66" Morrison...I'm still really impressed.
Please let me know if Bob decides he can help some people who are wanting to try the longer, smoother, all around sweeter, mild reflex bows.
The gentle locator grip is juuuust right!
