I recently traded for an Elburg bow and was curious if someone could tell me how they like them. I haven't received the bow yet, it's in transit.

I have a cheetah and it shoots fantastic.  One of the fastest bows I've shot.  Pretty cool static tip.

I have 3 of Harry's bows, including one of those fast Cheetahs, and a 54" that Harry said, was his first takedown, it took two more deer this past season, Tom Mussatto arrows with 160gr. heads.
Later!

I have a trade in the works right now for a 58" Cheetah 55@27"... Thant Harry built in 99.  Does anyone familiar with this model think it will work OK with a 28 1/2" draw length???     :notworthy:

I believe he retired some years ago, and sold his business. I don't know if his successor is still in business or not.

Gene... it shouldn't be a problem at all...  I had a Cheetah that was 66#... too much weight for me... but she was smooth as butter...

Harry did retire and sold the business to Adam Proctor who makes the Risen Son bows... uses the same forms as Harry's... not sure how much Adam's making bows right now...

Harry, as John said was ahead of his time... one of the first to use fastflight I think on traditional bows... his strings were skinny 15 years ago... I remember having to double serve them back then...

Still looking for a 48" and 50" Jaguar Mites...

I live in Indiana and went over to his shop in southeastern Indian several years ago to purchase one of his bows.  I shot three different bows before settling on one.  They were great shooting bows with excellent craftsmanship.
