Please save me from myself
« on: March 09, 2011, 09:17:00 PM »
The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Ok I have a problem, I am new to traditional archery I recently received my first long bow a Mohawk 64" 40# @ 26 " Cocobolo riser bamboo limbs  with red elm veneers. What a awesome bow. Now the problem I have a Dywer on order and am already looking at a third. Do I need help or is this normal..

It's a "sick"ening problem that usually gets worse before getting better - just be reasonable. And as I remember someone telling me ...the most important things in life, are not things.
Take care friend.

Are you married? If so she will definitely let you know if your new love becomes a Problem!

But from what I've heard so far you seem perfectly Normal.

Normal.  I would say you are just getting started. Enjoy the journey as you only have "one" tank of gas in this life.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

You may have acute Rowan's-syndrome... it's too early to tell yet... we'll most likely be able to tell after the first hundred bow purchases or so.

Good luck to you.

Don't worry!!!

Enjoy it while you can because if you ever get laid off your addiction problem will be solved for you. It's better than a 12 step program.   :readit:

God forbid that should ever happen to you.
