In most of the large national/international archery shoots, are ilf bows considered to be like any other take down?

To my knowledge. Why do think it would make a difference?

I know that there can be lots of interesting rules.  Like with the IBO (I was reading on it), in the traditional class the arrow has to be shot off the shelf or hand.  No elevated rests of any kind is my understanding.  The Long Bow Safari that travels around even get down to how close a bow is cut to center.  I was just wondering if there had been any segregating of the take downs.

I know IBO makes no distinction in the manner a bow takes down. ILF is used by so many FITA and NFAA shooters I doubt they distinguish them either.

as always, different orgs and different events will have different rules variations on everything.  contact the shoot venue and/or the hosting organization for clarification.  also, rules can and have changed almost overnight, so it's worth checking out if it's a trip to the shoot in question.
