Installing Antler Limb Bolts
« on: March 10, 2011, 07:05:00 PM »
When installing the antler limb bolts do you remove the brass limb holder that the limb bolt goes through so the antler sets flush on the limb or do they stay on and the antler limb bolt goes through,

I learned this one the hard way. Remove the brass bevel. That bevel and the screw that goies thru it is in case you dont have the antler bolts.

I remove the brass bevel and depending on how flush the limb bolt
sits on the limb and how I am feeling that day the flat nylon washer will get used or not.

I always use the Flat Nylon washer because I don't like to scratch the limb in that area since it is where the limb is retained.
