You may both be right!! Jack was forced to use several different brands of broadheads over the years do to businesses failing and such.
I do know he preferred long and lean as far as design goes. At one point he was using the Black Copperhead Slicer (4 blade). He really liked one of the cookie cutter type heads (maybe the Traileze). He removed the cutting ring.
I have a Woodsman that Jack glued blades to. Shot a few critters with one just like it that I made up....wicked!! The Woodsman wasn't a "great" platform for his blades due to the vents.
He may have used injector blades (you realize none of the young guys know what those are?), but he supplied "Pal" single edge blades with the kit that he sold.

I was very impressed by the pile of lung blood on the doe.
This hog didn't go far but blood trail was poor due to shot angle. Arrow backed out a little.
