Those look like the work of a more than one artist.

I mean to build authentic replicas of Native American bows is awesome but them to decorate them too calls for a whole different talent.

Congratulations Don!

I will be watching for your thread when you are given the "go-ahead" to start shooting again.

Thank you for sharing with us.

God bless,Mudd

Really cool Don.  Ed not only makes fine bows, he is a great guy as well.
You'll have to post pic's of your Grandbaby shooting.

I want one of these badly. How long is your bow? I wish you well in your recovery.

Who needs fancy laminations with that level of incredible art on the back and belly of a bow!?

Is it  me, or is there actually some reflex/deflex in that strung Owl?

Amazing art and talent on all counts!

Beauts both. Especially like the engraved feather & bird pics. How do they shoot?

Awesome bows!!!  I am going to have to get over to see them both.......

They are beautiful, I can see a hero pic of you with that bow draped over a big-ol-buck in the near future.

Congrats!!!

Both very nice Bows!! Congrats. The only thing better than one Owl bow is 2 Owl bows! Or in your case a bow and a half!

Not just "see 'em"......you gotta shoot this baby. It's been talkin' to me......I swear it has. I haven't even drawn it yet and I think it's wanting it's limbs bent a little bit.

Man he looks like he has fun making his bows. I see some pictures in Tradbowhunter mag of some gemsbok horn bows he does. Very unique.
Not able to shoot with that in your hands, no wonder it's talking to you!
Good luck on the mend.

Don, how are you stringing those bows with your bad wing? Seems like owlbait should have an owl bow...maybe some day! Post pics when you get a chance to shoot with your little darling.

Mike,

My wing is getting better. It isn't a problem to string them at all. Actually, I could probably draw the lighter weight ones. I'm just NOT gonna push it until the PT says I'm ready.......which I'm hoping isn't to much longer.
