New Backquiver Project

I wanted to say thanks for all the people who share their knowledge and let us look at the wonderful thinks they make with their own hands! I have learned from you and I hope it shows. I may never be able to equal what some of the talented people on here make. But I tell you I sure have fun in my shop! This is very addicting! Sure is a lot better than sitting in front of the boob tube. Just another reason that traditional is fun! Thanks, David

I still have some work to do on it. I am going to back the strap with sheepskin where it hits the shoulder. I have a pelt being tanned that I will line inside at the top and just over the edge at the top.

Pj, I don't know what latigo is..? I just went to the local leather shop and told them what I wanted to make and they recommended this weight of leather. What is latigo?

You get an A+, awesome quiver brother!
I see you measured it so your crests on your arrows are visable, very nice!
You should be very proud.

There is just something about carrying your homemade wood arrows in a backquiver you made as you walk out into the forest. I quess the next step is making my own bow. I don't know if I have that kind of time commitment though.
