My first Traditional Bow.
« on: March 15, 2011, 01:44:00 PM »
I've finally dove off into the world of Trad Archery.  I picked up my new "Baby" yesterday.

It's a Beowulf made by Tony Semenuk of White Wolf Custom Bows.

62" long and 56lbs@28"

I've already been shooting it and taking baby steps getting it tuned up correctly.

I'm a green bean when it comes to trad archery.  But I've made some pretty good progress.  Shot it quite a bit yesterday and was happy with the results so far!

Can't wait to get home today and shoot it some more!

I've got to say, shooting a trad bow is outright addictive!

If you're like me you'll probably end up wanting to shoot everyday!  Never would've wante to shoot my wheelie everyday. Really love the simplicity of trad.

Maybe the cool part of trad is NOT knowing you're going to center punch everything. That is, using your instincts to direct a consistent effort at your best. Best of luck. Have fun.
