Weekend at the Ranch

My dad and I doing some javelina hunting this past weekend.
This is my dad checking out this javey.
 
My dad making his move.We had only been hunting about 20 min when we came across this javey.

Here is one that got to close to the widow maker.

 

We were hunting a new ranch,there was 10 of us and we took 15 javelina and 3 hogs.

Not to mention being able to hunt in shorts and tee shirt.  It's mid March and my yards still covered with snow.  Hopefully it will be gone soon.

Very nice.  I see the ranch has a collared shirt restriction.  Very formal hunting attire.  Didn't seem to phase the javi's though.  Congrats to all on what must have been a great weekend.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
