More stumping pics
« on: March 18, 2011, 03:52:00 PM »
My wife and I where both off work today, which doesn't happen as often as we would like. It was such a nice day we decided to go stumping on some public land near by.

 Eating a bit of lunch.

She's using my Great Plains SR Swift while she waits for her PTFX from Nixa. I'm shooting my Bear, B riser TD.

She's a country girl and it's been years since she's swung on a grape vine.

I hate it when people throw trash out but it made a good target. We took it with us back to the truck.

I'm blessed to have a wife who enjoys the the same things as I do.

Sure looks like the two of you had a great day.  The last time I did that on a grape vine, it came down with me about 1/2 way across the creek.   Oh well, it was almost Saturday anyway and bath time.  Enjoy live and continue to have fun.

I have yet to go stumping. But the more I see the pics of stumping on this site, I can tell I am really missing out on something.

Stumpin' is about as much fun as it gets. Topgun, you have to try it--you'll wonder what took you so long.  :saywhat:  My buddies and I had about as soon stump shoot as hunt--and we sure love to hunt.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Yes, we had a real good time. I think stumpin is about the best practice a person can do and it's more fun, for me at least, than a target face.
