Wow. I started thinking I was in a time warp seeing some long-lost names posting till I caught the date stamp.

:)  Yup. Just as good the 2nd time around. I'm 5 yrs older'n when I read this back then and 5 years (at least) and still my lungs ache just reading along!

Wow somebody is dredging up some old stories. Just reread the whole thing and relived it again        Thanks everybody it was a blast!

I think Jess was 11 years old when she treed this cat. that's like 77 in human years and she still ran us into the ground. She's since gone on to the happy hunting grounds. She was one heck of a lion dog, I think John told me she'd treed over 60 cats on her own. She's missed by all who knew her...

Here is where the lion resides now.

Thanks Doug for sharing and taking us TradGangers lion hunting with you. Thanks also for the shot of your den and your mountain Lion.

Would one of those longbows beneath the cat be the "Bridger Mountin" you got from my friend Buddy Thompson?

No Larry, that one is hanging down in my office. Great bow, killed a bunch of critters with it but kinda retired it, guess I'm getting old, 68@26 started getting a little tough.  ;)

Yep....there were a few revived.

Cabin fever sets in this time of year...and I thought it would be nice to revisit some stories and give some that are new  hear a fresh story to read.

Glad to see the mount....very nice.
