Sunday fun at Three Trails
« on: March 20, 2011, 08:42:00 PM »
Had a great day down at Three Trails Chili shoot with several of Trad Gangs best.

Here are some of the pictures.

From left to right...myself, Tom Porter (Gatekeeper), Mike Cashen, Ben Saye (Ksbowman), John, and Lonny (Anchorman).  Jeremy Rapp and his son Samuel shot with us and entertained us early in the morning as well.

Nothing like a warm spring days after a long winter to make for a great bow shooting time.  I enjoyed the shoot a bunch! Thanks to Mike Cashen and Bob Burns and all the folks with three trails who put on a great event.

Gotta give Lonny (Anchorman) some serious props.  The guy trudged through 80 targets up and down a muddy trail with a long leg knee immobilizer after having an avulsion of his knee cap and quad tendon.  The dude is pretty tough.

Shooting in shirt sleeves sure does look like fun!  I'm afraid we're a little bit behind you on the spring weather.
Great way to spend a day!

I have seen a few threads on 3D shoots this weekend and it makes me wish I would have hit one as well. Looks like great weather and a good time was had there guys.

Lonny you are the man! I just got up a little bit ago whining how my legs were sore from my boys first baseball practice of the year Sat.! I'm coaching so I did have to move a little! Take care of that leg bud!

I had a great time, lots of good company, chili and young Samuel's excitement getting to shoot with the big guys is always amusing. He gave a commentary on most shots good or bad and could tell tell you what vital you hit. His dad's giving him some very good mentoring in hunting. Congrats Jeremy on a fine son!
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
