As always the folks at Three Trails did a great job. Two rounds at 20 targets, all the chili a person can eat, door prizes and a day of shooting with fiends, all for $12. That’s hard to beat.  :campfire:

The star of our group was seven year old Sam. The shots that seem to impress him the most were spine shots.  :jumper:   Quote of the day “He’s trying to quit.” Mike Cashion about Lonnie’s damaged knee.    You had to be there.

Anyone close to KC should make plans to come to their next shoot in April. The date is April 17th. Shoot time is 8-2, the cost is $12 for two rounds of shooting at 20 targets. Chicks and twerps shoot for free. For more information visit there web site.  www.threetrailsarchery.com

Indeed the folks at Three Trails did a great job again. I will second the thoughts on Sam he is a great kid and fun to have around. As far as walking around the trails it wasn't all that difficult to do when you are around good friends and having a good time. I enjoyed it very much..and guys thanks for your assistance...

Thanks for coming guys! We all had a great time. I was a little worried about the turnout after the torrential downpour on Saturday, but that was some of the best weather we had for our chili shoot in 5 years. I loved seeing all the kids there - it really makes the shoot for me. See you next month for the scoring shoot. We'll be camping out on Saturday night and a few folks said they will be doing some pickin' and grinnin' so come on down. Tom, we can have a Scamp rally!

Also, Mike and Brenda Horton of the Nocking Point will be there next shoot as well as Mike Dunnaway from Wild Horse Creek Bows. Mike D. has been getting quite a following for his bows, and watching them perform on the range, I can see why.

I'm a little jealous of your warm tempertures!  I have to keep reminding myself that we're still in March though.  I really like that picture of all the bows lined up against the fence.  Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Good times are hard to beat on the range with friends unless you are in the woods shooting hair.

Bernie,
Don't be too jealous. Last year we had to cancel our chile shoot due to 8 inches of sleet and snow! We just got lucky this year :-)

No one ever reaches for my arrows by mistake! Heck it makes it easier to find them in the brush!

Tracy,

I think I have your address. Wonder if the UPS driver could be paid off.  I can never have enough zipper bows.    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

This is great!  I couldn't make it this weekend and don't have a trad bow yet, but am planning on attending the April shoot with my family.  So excited!

Three Trails has a great 3D range and top notch members, I recognized a few in the mug shots. I need to make it over in April.

I just want to know...who got skunked   :saywhat:
