What to say about Bob Morrison...
« on: June 16, 2007, 02:48:00 PM »

Bob exceeded expectations with my new Cheyenne recurve. This may be the quickest most quiet bow I've ever shot. The workmanship is in a word "perfect".
Bob does not know I am going to tell a short story about himself and this bow. I ordered this bow last fall; then a month or so later I called and put the bow on "hold". I was in no hurry and was going to Canada this spring anyway. Bob called me at the end of May stating he should have the bow ready soon. Wow was all I could think. I told Bob to call me when the bow was indeed ready to ship and I would get my credit card paid off to make room for the cost of the bow. A week or two go by and no call. Last Monday morning I hear from Bob telling me that my card was declined. I told him that I had not paid it off yet and that I would have it good in a few days. He said thats fine. Long story short; Bob went ahead and shipped my new bow anyway... I still shake my head that in 2007 a man would take anothers word (four states apart)about sending a payment after the fact.
I want to thank Bob for the beautiful bow and going above and beyond for a customer.

Like Houseman, I own three of Bob's bows as well.  Not only are they fabulous shooters, but they originate from one of the true gentlemen of our sport.  Congratulations on adding a Morrison to your collection!

Details---It has Philippine Ebony with Osage outsides and 4 accents. Pinecone carving, Kudu limb tips and canebrake skins. Custom grip (I sent Bob a riser to copy) which is about as perfect match as can be, "A" riser with "B" limbs with bamboo cores.

It shots better than it looks. I just could not be more pleased.

I have a Dakota, an Arapaho, and an ACS that Bob made. The man's integrity is part of the beauty and the glow of the wood in his bows.

I have a Shawnee with Dakota limbs that is a work of art and shoots like a dream. Congrats on your new bow.

I've owned a few of Bob's bows and they've all been top notch. I was looking at my shawnee with dakota limbs yesterday and can't help but admire the bow's appearance everytime I look at it. With it's four arrow black leather hood GN quiver and the axis 400 shafts, it's about the most perfect bowhunting outfit one could ask for. I spent more on the riser than I have on most complete bows. It makes a 56" bow and for hunting, I don't see how it can be improved. Morrison is a cool dude!

I shot a new ILF this weekend at The Compton Rendevous. I am ordering one. Bob was busy when I got back from shooting the bow so we and then he wasn't at his booth before I left Sunday so we couldn't write it up. This is what I'll be ordering and all phenolic riser 56" somewhere around 60 pounds at 28 inches. and I'll get extra limbs and have Bob put some Bull snake skins on them for shooting 3Ds and when not hunting in a Double Bull blind.
The ILF's performance is simply remarkable. I shot 3555 Gold Tips with 400 grain up front and shot a group with my eyes closed you could cover with a playing card. I just focused on doing everything the same way everytime and the bow showed itself to be everything I could want in a shorter high performance bow. I'm not a bad shot; and I know with this bow my shooting will go up at least another level.
