It was a great time had by all -- renewing old friendships and meeting new folks. After the pheasant hunt, we headed back to the Wilson's and did a some visiting, had another magnificent meal (lunch) prepared by the "one and only" Miss Tammy, and then did little shooting on their 3-D range. Terry, Doug, Conan, Steve, and Justin headed out mid-afternoon. We were able to wind-down a little before our last night at the Wilson's and another bow fishing excursion.
It is heartwarming to see firsthand the relationships and the strong bonds that exist between Skyler and Don and Cade and Curt. It is something very special, and the quality time they are able to spend together as "father and son teams" is great!
I am so proud of the new "highnoonhunter" quiver by Bobby Ratliff. I thought I'd share a couple of pics, as it is a true masterpiece. Inside the quiver are arrows made up by "Froggy" (Lanier Patridge). Froggy and I did a little horse trading a while back. I now have 3 dozen Trad Lites with black fletchings and TG reflective arrow wraps. They are gorgeous.
