Been talkin and thinkin for a few weeks now.  My turkey huntin bud and I have been scheming on a new blind set up and figuring out just where to set it.

So far the birds numbers are looking good and there are a good number of toms with some length to their beards this year....I will be thinkin more and more about it till the opener!!

My daughter and I both drew tags. It will be her first hunt, so I'm more excited than I've ever been about hunting turkeys. We'll be sharing a blind, and I'll be calling for her. So I won't even consider shooting a bird unless her tag is already on one.

This will be my first year hunting for turkey.  I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm sure I'll have fun.

I'm kinda looking for someone to help my son and I get on some turkeys in Indiana. Will trade the help for one of my bamboo backed bows or maybe some of my arrows. Let me know. I've tried for about 14 spring seasons now with very little success.

I thought NE opened today? Either way I am planning on chasing them in about a week.

My tag is for the last week in April here in Wi.  My 7year old daughter is coming with me again.  We took a 21# tom last year, (cheated with a shotgun), but this year it's longbow or bust!  She keeps reminding me to practice saying, "We don't want to have to wake up early for nothing Dad."

I'm thinking Turkey. And I can't wait. I think season opens here on April 7. I'm still a newbie turkey hunter. But last year hooked me. I called one in but not close enough. I tell you that the call and hearing those things responding. Was and awesome experience. Can't wait to get back at it. Good luck to all you turkey hunters.

I haven't been on Pow-wow in a while, I've been on the Bowyers Bench quite a bit and when I checked things out today I didn't see anything about turkeys right off. Thought that was odd cause it's gett'n close!

Steve I sent you a pm.

Been scouting turkeys all of March. Season starts here 25 April with a two bird limit (males). Using tracks in the snow and visuals on the birds, I have a good idea where to ambush these guys.....can't wait !!!!
