Several moons ago, Akela asked a craftsmen to make him a quiver worthy of the Arrow of Light award for Cub Scouts. Three new moons have pasted and now the quiver is here. This quiver covers the arrows so that it is a suprise as to what they look like.
Many thanks to Jeremy for the fine quiver. It is just what Akela needed. The beading is awsome! The cyote fur is beautiful. The Red accents really stand out.
I will be using it tomorrow at a Blue and Gold Banquet to hand out two leader awards. Yep, you guessed it; arrows. Tan Caps, Walnut stain, Red Fletching, Red and OD Cresting.
Next month at the Crossing over ceremony for the boys it will be the quiver that holds their Arrows of Light. Blue caps, Walnut Stain, Yellow Fletching, OD and Red Crest.
We move outside and I shoot arrows for them.
I am very excited as the quiver adds to the War Bonet and costume that I wear. I have make the arrows this year.
This just gets better every year.
Again, thanks Jeremy, you did a fine job and are a great craftsman.
