I found through teaching a few youth classes that most kids just want to see the arrow fly and pushing them too hard can set them back. They get the jitters and focus too much on what their doing wrong. In most cases the kids figure out how to compensate on their own.
I was laughing at both his "lucky arrow" and technical advise. One thing for sure, he will tell you what he's thinking, LOL! It seems a lucky arrow is in everyones quiver. It's almost an instinct we archers have, to call something lucky and it gives us extra confidence.
I can't wait to see Jr's face Dave!!! I love it when he says, "A longbow would be better."
