Thanks, she's been shooting since she was 6 and her little sister started at 4, now my grandson is shooting at the age of 3..

It's never too early to get them started, but I advise letting them ask rather than telling them..

Once the older one asked me then they all wanted to do it.. So I bought them a mini Genesis and let them have fun... Now and then they will ask me.. Grandpa, how do you do this or that and I get to give them a little instruction..

But I never push them to learn anything, it has to be at their pace or they will quickly tire of it and move on to something else..

Great advice...I wouldn't shoot either if it wasn't fun.

Mike, Great for you and your Grand Daughter. You are a lucky man. Mine is nine and loves the Shoot her TD Recurve a Cupid. She really is doing  well, but she lives to far away for a regular schedule. We really enjoy our time.

Lucky man..  I can't wait until I get the opportunity to introduce mine to archery, if she gets interested.  Still have a few years yet, since she's only 4 months old.  Enjoy that time with her, it's priceless.
