I've read the tutorials, have all the materials gathered, and tomorrow I'm going to build my formaster. As is usual for me, it's going to be a bit "overbuilt". My camo paracord, although very soft and flexible is only rated 17-42#. The slightly larger poly-cord is rated at 90#, so that's what I'll start with.
Now, my big question is - - - where does the loop go on the string. I can see where those who shoot three under could just attach it above the nock; but if you shoot split finger, there's gonna be a whole lot of "rope" under one finger or the other. Seems like it would have to matter, somehow. So, for those of you who have used the formaster, where exactly do you loop it onto the string in relation to the arrow nock? As close as possible to the arrow nock would make sense - - above or below the fingers does not make sense. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
