I missed naming one other thing I got, a nice pair of wool glo-mitts. They were just out of the pic with the shirts. Thanks again smalson for the gifts and for starting this thread. Lotsa fun!

A quick thanks to Mr. Guru for a very generous white elephant package.  
 
Thanks a lot Curt I've got everything I need to try and build some cedars I've always shot carbons but with all this stuff I think its time to see some wood fly.  Also my Hush puppies are in need of replacement and I use the same color. I also bought my first snuffers last year and can't wait to see how they do on the whitetails. Take care Joe

Hey John (Americanhunter7) the Big White E showed up today at my doorstep, thanks a ton!!!  I was just starting to look through some knife blade catalogues to try my hand at a kit so your Helle blade will be put to good use...much appreciated.

REcieved my package from manitoba stick flinger today and all I can say is WOW Thank You Ryan book,,some wraps a camo shirt and a very nice possibles bag a bow quiver did I say WOW,, some nice broadheads field tips, an extra string, some limb covers, and some reflective tape... Thank you Ryan, this is very nice

I'm glad you like the Helle blade blank. The handle wood I sent with it is Osage, and there should be enough leather there to make a small neck or belt sheath for the knife. Glad you liked it.

steadman, the pale pachyderm took flight from BC to Utah today. Might take a while, the first 300 miles is by dogslead, we still got two feet of snow in the yard. Bob
