Congrats Fred!

You've been a wonderful resource, teacher and mentor for so many folks interested in learning to shoot the traditional bow.

I sincerely applaud all of your accomplishments and I'm proud to have spent some time with you over the years!      :notworthy:

Congratulations Fred!  Best to you!  We met at Denton Hill in 2009 I got to hear you speak of your early days in archery one evening, it was very memorable.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

Well deserved. I've always said that he has single handedly brought trad bowhunting back from near extinction.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Congradulations Mr. Asbell!  It is nice to know when someone like Fred gets recognition, it is well deserved.  This is a very good example of when one puts time, effort & dedication into something such as traditinal bowhunting that they receive something very positive out of it.
I enjoy being a traditional archer!!

How sweet it is !!  Congratulations on being inducted into the HOF.

I too spoke with Fred on several occasions back when he was making the Bighorn bows with the curved limb beds.. I ordered several of those from him. They were super bows made by a really nice fella.

Congratulations to say the least!

I am very fond on his written works and changed to LH shooting after reading his position on the subject....the best thing I have done for my shooting and am forever in his debt.
