I am sure a lot of others can agree. He has been and is a great influence to my traditional path.

Like many here, I have been so fortunate to be able to learn so much from reading Fred's books and articles.
His knowledge & experience delivered in his unique laid-back style of writing is something that I always look forward to, be it something new or a re-read.
Congratulations Fred....

Congrats to Mr. Asbell. I've read every one of his books. And last year I had the honor of attending one of his shooting clinics in Nixa. Well deserved.

Congratulations!
Never met the man, but he writes very well. I especially enjoyed the articles he wrote about his sheep hunt and his disaster of a guided elk hunt. I think they were both in his books.
