FIRST ELK HUNT: Outfitter Info Wanted
«

Alright guys! here's the situation. My Dad came up to my brother and I last weekend and said he got the go ahead to take us on an elk hunt September of 2012. To say the least I am pumped (being from Iowa I've never seen one in person)! We chose to do a guided hunt because neither of us know how to call and we want to maximize our success rate on this awesome opportunity. My question to you guys is. What outfitter have you used to hunt elk? How was the experience? Pictures Encouraged.

Caleb,
I am a sponsor here on Tradgang. I live in Ankeny, Iowa. We had a booth at the Iowa Deer Classic in Des Moines last month. What part of Iowa are you located? I have been elk hunting with traditional equipment for many years and I kill a bull every once in a while. Review our website
www.mulecreekoutfitting.com
and give me a call if you have any questions.
