There are a couple/three nice clubs down that way with quite a few traditional archers in each one.  I've only been in this part of the world for a few months but so far I do not know of any shops with much or any traditional equipment.

Bjorn lives in Los Gatos, which is south of San Jose.  Maybe he'll chime in?

I was in San Francisco a few months ago and went to the archery shop just north of Golden Gate Park.  They claimed to be the only archery shop in the county. They had some recurves to rent out to folks that wanted to shoot the flat range in the park, less than 1/2 mile away.
