I also like the clean looks of a trad bow without a bow quiver attached to it. Also, since I shoot a take down which is heavier than a one piece bow, a bow quiver full of arrows adds a lot of weight to one side. I think it affects the balance of the bow in your hand and "could", not saying it does, but could affect where the arrow impacts on the target which might be different than where the arrow would impact on the target if no bow quiver was installed on the bow.
BTW, I bowhunt with a back or side quiver since the majority of my bowhunting is from ground blinds. If I have to bowhunt from a tree or platform, I take the back or side quiver off and just lay it beside me.
