A new hunter in New Hampshire (Pic Heavy)

I decided to go out and do some scouting/stump shooting today.  And I had some interesting finds, I also need some veteren help because I still need to learn alot.  So I have a few questions also.  And I'm open to any tips suggestions feel free to help out a newbie.

What's this I see...?
   

I think I'll stay on this trail a bit longer.  Up ahead is a genuine Nh swamp!

I noticed this one track running horizontally across the main trail a bit further up from the swamp..and I got to thinking maybe I should see why they are traveling across the trail here..
 

I went up a little peak and this is what I discovered...
 

I saw more droppings than I ever have in my life, this little crest was covered in them.  I could hardly avoid stepping in them over a fairly large area..and then I found this..
 

A bit back..my first official deer bed!

The area sloped down along the backside and I realized it was a good area for them to bed looking down on most sides and some evergreen cover.  I scouted around and found another bed and way too many droppings (I will spare you all the shots).  On my way back I noticed this dropping...can someone identify it?
 

And this track anyone familiar with these?  Looks like one fresh and one older, but may not be the same.  Need someone with more experience to help out.

A few pictures of chipmunks and some old rock foundation houses are mostly what's left.  But figured this was already alot of photographs, hope you enjoyed.

What part of NH are you in? I expected to see a lot more snow.

if the tracks are in a line like a cat I would say bobcat.looks like there is a lot of oak in the area thats good for a lot of wild life.

South Western NH, we've had some warm days recently with rain and it hammered the snow down the last week to week and a half.  It's all but gone now.

Good picts, looks like turkey droppings, and a cat of some sort bobcat.

The scat looks like coyote,so doesnt the track,bobcats are rounder.Nice pics,shoot straight.

The absence of claw marks makes me think bobcat.  Coyotes usually leave claw marks at the top of there toes.  The scat looks like coyote, and the other looks like turkey although I've never seen it piled in one spot like that.  Joe

Looks like partridge poop.

Bobcat tracks for sure.  Coyote crap and the turkey scat I have never seen in a pile except under a roost that was used often.

Canine drops (was there fur in it?),Feline tracks and bird droppings(curly).Nice pics thanks for sharing.

I'm about 25 minutes west of Manchester, seems most people are familiar with Manch.

The canine drops were loaded with fur.

Exactly what woodcock said IMHO. I was born in Bath, NH, raised around Lake Winnipasaukee (Laconia, Weirs, Gilford), and my Sis still lives in Milford. Loved the pictures - did my heart good. I hate cold weather but I will always love NH The bedding area could very easily have been where deer were "yarding up" during this past bad winter, and that certainly would draw the Bobs and Yotes. Keep the place in mind (and check it anytime), especially for next Dec., if snow is heavy and they start yarding early - would be my advice. Good luck and good living - in a grand old state.

Hard to tell the size from the pix...but the bird poop looks like Ruffed Grouse to me...they pile them like that...
