Well, I think I opened the proverbal can of worms. Just started shooting a new to me Moab.Set it up with some trad lite arrow Dynamics 250 points at 30.5 lg 53#'s 28.5 draw,4x3.5 banana's.Shot pretty nice, almost darts but needed a little bit more tuning.Needed to change out the string, kind of shot out, thought I would try my hand at making a string. Did it years back for compounds.Made a string jig and ordered some D10.Still need a bit more practice to get the string nice but not too bad. Do not know what the original string was but it was 12 strand.Did up a 6 and 9 strand set of strings to experiment with the D10.Well got to shooting and everything seems out of wack. Hate like heck to retune the shafts. What kind of changes does this D10 do.The speed seems to be up a bit. Does the D10 makes things more sensitive, is it that much different/ any pointers.Would like to keep up the speed but at what expense? I do like the thin strings. thks Jim g

I would try lowering point weight a bit and see how it shoots then.I shoot some Trad Lites out of my Hill 55#@27,they are 30.5" and fly great with 175 gr. points.Your bow is cut closer to center then my Hill,250 gr. points seem heavy to me for your bow with Trad Lites.Just a thought!

JRY, Just got back to working with my shafts,I cut to 30" and put 175 on the front. Seems to be close to spot on. thanks for your input Jim G
