FIRST TRAD KILL!!!
« on: April 10, 2011, 12:41:00 PM »
I went turkey hunting the other night and called this guy in, and well I'm a predator hunter so I couldn't resist. Made a 15 yard shot and watch him lay down. Waited awhile and went to get him and he took off! So I knocked another arrow and hit him right behind the ear! I'm not going to say I was aiming there but it did the job.   [/IMG]

yikes  I've been a trad hunter for 18 years and have not got one!  Amazing start, I can hardly wait to see what you shoot next.

How cool is that? ..Way!!!... I'm saying...

Congratulations!

I sure wish they would allow us to do that here in Missouri but they close the season when spring turkey comes in.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! My first shot was a little far back (guts), the coyote was on the move and I learned at that close if you try and stop them and pull back you'll be taking a running shot most of the time. Had a tom at 20 yards yesterday but didn't quite close the deal. I'll let you guys know if I get a turkey!
