Turkey arrows

Was wondering what color fletchings do you use for your turkey hunting arrows without using a blind?I will be using Big-Jims bush in a bag this season.Been practicing with it,Can,t wait for opening day.

I chop my own feathers so I mostly use turkey feather from birds I kill. But this Christmas I got some pink feathers and just tried them out this weekend, and you can really see the arrow alot better after the shot. Very easy to find too.

I use natural barred or green and black.

Mine for this year have 2 natural turkey feathers and 1 yellow feather.

If going with out a blind or fletch cover...I highly reccommend natural colors that will not give you away...remember turks see color!

I use 2 natural turkey feathers and 1 black,  with a white nock to help me see the where it goes...

Here is what I'm using unfortunately I don't have any "stories" with them to tell - but I do have confidence in my choices - LOL

CX heritage 90 - Wild Turkey Feathers, Yellow nock (to spot), reflective tape strip (to locate), Abowyer Whitetail BH, same arrows I use for deer but with a Judo ring included on shaft behind BH (to prevent or retard shoot-thru, and perhaps make arrow stand up in grass - if it goes there - LOL)

dont thinks i would use pink or something as bright as that, but the chance of the bird running or flying away after you shoot are good. I would go with shoething that is a natural bright color, maybe a common flower or something like that.  a couple feathers isnt gona make or break ya if ur trying to kill a bird that has great eye sight from the ground with any bow.

I would be leary of bright colors with them turkey birds. You know they can hear you think and see you change your mind.

If they can see your fletch then you weren't going to get to full draw without being busted anyway. I shoot the same arrows I always use.

I am hoping these will be my turkey-takers. Douglas Fir arrows and Magnus I heads. About 12+ grains per pound. Made for my BW PL V, 52#/28.5", 70lb static spine.
