Congratulation to Fred. One of the attributes I've always admired about him is the way, in person, or in writing, he makes his points and shares his opinions. He does so without finding fault with anyone else, and without declaring his way or the highway. Today, it seems our culture favors divisive approaches to sharing ideas. I can't recall a single incident of Fred being uncivil in sharing his views. I hope he has many more years to share ideas and lead by example.

A well-deserved honor, the hall of fame is strengthened by your membership. I was living in Hoosierland when I first began reading of your exploits and contributions to Bowhunting. You had long since departed S. IN. I could only drool over those special edition bows you made when they cost 1.5 months of my salary -- but drooling is fun too.
My old boss when I managed Patoka Lake, Bill Bakeis told me he had been your classmate.
