Been thinking about building next seasons hunting arrows with footed shafts. Was wondering where the best place to get some would be.

Lots of input on this lately. Try a search on it (footed arrows). Seems everyone makes their own to their requirements. Check it out.

I believe The Footed Shaft near Rochester, Minnesota, still sells them.  Believe they're made by Cedarsmith, though he may not still be in business under that name.  Footed, compressed cedar shafts with a ten-inch taper to the nock.  Very nice stuff.

Well worth building some. I am still shooting the same batch of footed carbons from 3 years ago. Easy to build and last forever. They do tear up my targets a bit more than unfooted shafts.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
