Kanati Pig
« on: April 16, 2011, 09:49:00 PM »
I traded with Ronw this past week for a 58" 43@28 JK Traditions Kanati. I knew from the first shot that it was going to be a keeper. Looks like it might just have a little mojo going on too!   :p

Just about didn't go out tonight. Been working on a deck extension in the back of the house and it was still 90 degrees at 6 pm.
Finally got the gumption up to go out about 6:30 and about 7 had a group of young pigs show up. Drew back and let her fly. The 125 grain snuffer hit right where I was looking and buried to the fletching. All the pigs ran off but the ones that hadn't been poked came back in pretty quickly. I ALMOST took another shot but figured with it as hot as it was I'd have enough on my hands getting the first one in the cooler. The one I shot made it about 20 yards and when he let out his last squeal, the others figured something was up and took off.
Thanks Ronw for a definite keeper of a bow!

Good work on the pig! Gives me motivation to keep working at it here in Okie...and nice looking bow -- looks very similar to my Don Dow Stik bow.
