Basket weaving 101-new back quiver

My first shot at making "weaving" a back quiver. Just need to finish the strap attachment...

That is really cool.  I've wanted to learn how to do this for a long time.  Nice work!

Good looking basket. What are the dimensions? It will be a treat this summer.

Very nice baskey quiver. I've made a few myself. You did a great job keeping the tension on the weavers constant.

Mich. Mark..It is from scratch...had to back track a time or two to keep the cylinder even.I used a carpet tube for a guide as I went.  Ya it is very lightweight. should be good for those hot 3D shoots this summer.

First experience with this stuff, should I spray it with a clear coat  to protect it or is it OK as is?

I would think you would want to spray it with something to keep it from cracking and spliting. So it would stay flexable.

Just put some linseed oil on it, it'll soak in and help to keep it in nice shape! By the way....nice job!!

Very nice work.  Good idea to use the carpet tube to keep shape consistent.
