California Hog (Pics)
« on: April 18, 2011, 11:30:00 PM »

Mother Nature really showed her beauty this weekend in Central Cali, The rain made it for a great pig hunt.

With Hills like these, Those wild pigs have it made!

Isn't She A Beaut??????????  :bigsmyl:

The Hit was a bit high, but judging by this photo, I hit it where it counts, The main Artery!

The Shot was @ 35 yards and the pig didn't make it half that before it was down.

The Grizzly Broadhead did it again! 2 solid years of use and it's never disappointed me, I cant't rave enough about it.

Very nice Jim!  A great hog, and great scenery too.  I'd like to hunt pigs in Ca one day.  Were you on public land?

Definitely a      :D

Thanks for the kind words guys.I hunted my butt off to kill this pig.We hunted for four days. Everyday i got on hogs, the wind would swirl and the game was over.On the last day we got in some beding area, moving very slowly. As my eye caught some movment the pig was comming out of the brush,as soon as i saw his nose i drew my bow.By the time his whole body was out and looking at me,the six hundred grain arrow was on its way.I was very thankful to close the deal on my last day.Man I LOVE BOWHUNTING!  :archer2:

You had to hit at least one lung as it looks like she was spitting blood. Great work enjoy that tasty morsel.
